Austria’s capital community volunteers deliver fact-based drug education with young people across the city

VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria have expanded outreach in Vienna, engaging young people, parents and teachers via public information points and community events. The Vienna effort is led by Gabriele Toker, the initiative relies on “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide clear information on drug risks, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, often cited as Europe’s most commonly used illicit drug. Details were published in a Scientology Europe report.

Organisers say, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, with visibility at major public events, including the Donauinselfest, while also connecting with educators interested in classroom-ready resources. Ivan Foundation for a Drug-Free World Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, said: “Reliable, early information helps young people make free and responsible choices—supporting both community well-being and European civic values.”
